Chassis Multi-Body Simulation
Volke performs sensitivity analyses regarding driving behavior, determines space requirements, as well as load collectives for the measurement of hard to reach components.
In the development of axial-kinematics, Volke uses ADAMS/View, ADAMS/ Car, and SimDesigner Suspension, as well as customer-specific systems.
Other services offered include:
• the new development and modification of rigid and elasto-kinematics in accordance with customer-targeted areas
• bending angle and displacement path calculations during the layout of the universal joint
• evaluation of spring rate design and transmission of other vehicle weights
• installation space requirement calculations
• sensitivity analyses on kinematic target sizes (DOE) under the influence of production tolerances and sensitivity analyses
• load determination for FEM structure analysis.
In the CAD area, Volke carries out automated clearance studies, and determines dynamic envelopes in optional reference systems for the DMU either as early space configurations, as well as space specifications for system developers. Additionally, Volke carries out the installation space requirement analysis for moving parts. Using reverse engineering, Volke's performance spectrum includes the production of CAD data from available components, the analysis and simulation of competitors' products, the setup of rigid and elasto-kinematics, as well as the static and dynamic measurement of performance curves of rubber mountings.
