In order to accelerate the develop process during the form-finding phase, at an early stage Volke creates CAD data.  Based on sketches and instructions from the designers, a CAD surface data set is created using Alias, and then refined in terms of the technical and design aspects.  To evaluate the design, in the beginning photo-realistic pictures are rendered on special high-performance computers.  With a computer controlled 5-axis portal milling machine, Volke Design Model Building is setting new standards in the production of models.  Here, design models are created – true to scale in all dimensions and precise down to the smallest detail.
