Before and automobile arrives in a showroom, it must first pass millions of kilometers of test drives: on test benches in the laboratory, around secret test tracks in the icy solitude of Europe's frozen North, or well disguised in normal street traffic. Volke specializes in vehicle testing. In our laboratories, chassis are tested for durability, thermal stress, and vibration resistance. It's here that new engines are put through rigorous climatic and exhaust emission testing. The latest insights into psychoacoustics are also gained here. Interiors and complete bodies of vehicles, including all of their attached parts, are tested in our facilities. And, of course, we conduct safety testing into the most common causes of accidents. Only after these tests do we then go out on the road.
