Safety Testing / Interior, part 2

Our goal is to reduce possible head injuries of passengers in the event of an accident.  We perform comprehensive testing of head impacts in the vehicle interior, in accordance with FMVSS 201, ECE-R21 and ECE-R25, specifying the energy input to components such as the instrument panel, center console, and headrests.  Each part is struck with a pendulum having a head diameter of 165 mm, a reduced mass of 6.8 kg, at a speed of 24.1 km/h.  Measured deceleration values may not exceed limits specified by law.
