Only when the most important individual parts have been proven and tested, can the necessary quality of the whole vehicle be guaranteed. This goes as much for doors and covers, as it does for the brakes, wheels, or heating and air conditioning systems. A focus of component testing is the design of components for the body, doors, covers, and their attached parts. Another area of focus is the development of the interior, including the cockpit with heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and all of the trim components. Volke also develops all sizes of braking systems and for the wheels. The braking system is balanced with respect to function, thermal load capacity, strength, and durability. A further goal is the reduction of brake noises and vibrations. For the wheels, Volke completely develops the components, right through to series production. Every vehicle component must, through the use of the most modern testing procedures, prove itself in numerous tests in terms of function, strength, and durability before it can be recommended for series release.
